Inspired by the graceful and harmonious lines of the medusa, this lamp features an iconic umbrella-shaped form, as if it seeks to protect and guard the illuminated space. The term "medusa" derives from ancient Greek, meaning protector or guardian. Just like the mythical creature, Plissè captures the gaze of onlookers, enchanting with its rounded silhouette—a closing circle that conveys a sense of both completeness and uniqueness. The interplay of different materials—glass, fabric, and metal—creates a contemporary and stylish aesthetic. The generous blown glass diffuser conceals an internal fabric lampshade, playing with transparency, color, and texture. Plissè is available in suspension, with the diffuser offered in dark amber, smoke, terra bruciata, antique green, or transparent crystal.
