In the late 1950’s, Giancarlo Rizzi approached the world of glass for the first time, learning all its secrets from master glassmakers. By perfecting one of the oldest techniques of glass processing, he has created numerous glass collections over the years, a tradition carried on today by his son Stefano. The true value of Sospiri Venezia is not only exemplified by the refinement of their Italian hand-made glass objects, but also in the history of the Rizzi family, which for two generations has drawn precious art objects from glass.
