Greche 10 Tiles Set by Lithea. Greche, a Travertine marble panel with Pietra Pece applications, presents a modular design inspired by the Geometric Style of ceramics from 8th-century BC Athens and Magna Graecia. This style featured dense pictorial decoration in black paint, applied to various fields of ornamentation, expressing a taste for rational composition, perfect symmetry, rhythmic order, and harmony based on simple geometric forms. The cylindrical elements in Greche recall guttae (drops) of the Doric order's ornamental motifs. The reinterpretation of this decorative series creates a contemporary, infinitely extendable collection, employing a modular matrix and two layers of different stones accentuated through CNC machining.
