Due Settembre 1944 Sideboard by AB 1926 Berdondini is a modern sideboard for living room or for office, with shapes that recall the style of the monumental Italian rationalism. The back is perfectly finished in order to allow the placement even in the middle of the room. Due Settembre 1944 is part of the “Novecento Collection”. The stylistic reference for this Berdondini’s project (1944) is what historians call “the stately Novecento”, an “allure” interpolating the rationalist lesson with the proposal of symbolic ancient models. The furniture typologies on show in this collection follow the path taken by the research in that period in order to “modernize” tastes in home interiors. To complete the décor of the room, it is possible to match Due Settembre 1944 with other pieces from the Berdondini’s collection.
