Dema was founded in 1962 in San Gimignano, the heart of Tuscany, with a very clear objective: the production of high-tech sofas stemming from ongoing design research and a focus on delivering both functionality and quality in every product. All of their production work is carried out in-house, allowing the company to keep close eye on the quality control process. Every upholstered component is produced on state-of-the-art machinery, and then hand finished by expert artisans, whom Dema view as a precious asset to the organization. The ultimate goal of any sofa design must be total comfort, and Dema manages to meet this objective while presenting forms that are attractive, original, durable and technically advanced.
