“In Filicudi, Aeolian Islands, the essential furniture in peasant houses was made up of two trestles in forged iron. These two elements were used to support a top in order to create different sizes of tables, singles bed or double beds: the height was always the same! I have remembered these structures used in the house where I spent my summer holidays; I have carefully observed the craft techniques in Barel workshop, I have created some ceramic plates using traditional decorative techniques of Mondovì (sponge stamps). These are the components of my project for Barel: a collection of pieces of furniture for bedrooms. Bed and bedside tables realized in forged iron with craft techniques and enriched with stone, wood and ceramic elements united by the concept of celebrating the Mediterranean radiant splendor.” Ugo la Pietra.

For the lacquered Custom RAL option, it is necessary to specify to our Customer Service Team one of the RAL colors of the RAL CLASSIC K7 chart. Possibility to select Serena stone top or painted oak top. Possibility to purchase an accent white ceramic vase screwed to the top.
