Simone Fiorell

Simone Florell’s abstract paintings explore the wiring of our ancient brains and our primal impulses. The German artist – born, raised and currently living and working in Berlin – also examines anthropology, psychology, personal development, nurture vs. nature and culture. Florell applies organic forms and shapes of acrylic colour on thick paper as well as on canvas, creating layers of glaze with her brush.
