Sam Baron

Sam Baron was born in France in 1976. He works and lives between Lisbon, Paris and Treviso (Italy). He is currently the head of the design department of Fabrica Benetton. Sam Baron raises questions through his objects and furniture pieces, shrewdly interrogating the utility of modern material production, subtly sounding out the value, usage, and the very existence of new objects. In 2010 Sam Baron was selected as one of the 10 designers of the next decade by Philippe Starck for Maison&Objet-Now!
