Philippe Bestenheider

Philippe Bestenheider was born in 1971, in Sion, Switzerland. In 1998 he earned a degree in Architecture from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, and worked for studios both in Switzerland and in the US. In the year 2000 he obtained a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from the Domus Academy in Milan. From 2001 to 2006 he was Senior Designer in Patricia Urquiola’s office in Milan, working for numerous important Italian clients. In 2006 he was invited to take part to the Promosedia exhibit, and in 2007 he opened his own studio, splitting his work time between Switzerland and Milan.
