Michel Boucquillon

Born in Belgium in 1962, Michel Boucquillon studied Architecture in Brussels. In 1988 he won the “Van Hove” prize for Architecture, and then spent two years working in Florence. At 26 years old he was selected to design the Hemicycle for the European Parliament in Brussels, where he also designed furniture. In 2005 he was the winner of the “Design Plus” award. At the moment he has an architecture firm in Brussels and a product-design studio in Lucca. He works with the most important design and furniture manufacturers in the world.
