Mascia Meccani

Mascia Meccani was born in Pisa in 1970. She attended the Faculty of Architecture in Florence, graduating in 1998 with honors in architectural design. During her university studies and later she collaborated with the Meccani company on numerous design and interior design projects. Since 2000 she has been responsible for "Meccani Studio", founded by Ferdinando Meccani in the 1960s, where, over the years, architectural interventions have been managed in addition to design and furniture projects with a multidisciplinary approach. Belonging to a family where wood was worked by hand has had a decisive influence on the passion and enthusiasm for this material even if there are numerous products by the author in painted and decorated terracotta where the two natural materials intersect forming objects of furniture.
