Luigi Lanzi - Modern Italian Furniture Designer from IMaestri
Luigi Lanzi
Luigi Lanzi (1950, Bologna), first became interested in furniture in the seventies, when he opened his showroom in Bologna. In the eighties he opened three more showrooms, to which he subsequently added an art gallery to organize exhibitions of important artists and designers. In the early nineties, he dedicated himself to the design of showrooms in the fashion industry and thus become the “man” behind many fashion events in Italy. At the same time, he started designing furniture for private residences and hotels around the world: New York, Miami, Paris and Berlin. He also began to design products for major and prestigious Italian furniture companies. Finally, in the early 2000’s Lanzi created his own company to concretely express his own design philosophy.
