Annabet Philps

Annebet Philps was born April 15 1981, Gorinchem, the Netherlands. Studied Industrial Design Engineering at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, where she graduated cum laude in 2007. Since then she has lived and worked in Amsterdam where she worked in various design fields, including fashion, product and concept design. While studying and working, Annebet simultaneously pursued her own design projects. In 2012 she sets up her design studio with projects in product and concept design. At first glance the designs of Annebet can be characterized by bold shapes, humor and graphic elements. But upon taking a closer look, one discovers that the playful objects hide thought through concept.
