Aldo Londi

Aldo Londi (Montelupo Fiorentino, 1911-2003) was a tireless teller of feelings and intuitions. His entire life was devoted to art: he was a painter and a sculptor, but mainly a ceramicist. His unique masterpieces are the fruit of tireless study and constant experimentation with different colors, materials and techniques, resulting in a one-of-a-kind fusion between tradition and innovation. His natural attitude for research made it possible for him to take the challenge of making brave explorations and defining a new language of expression, that reached its peak with the “Rimini Blu” Collection he realized for Bitossi.
