Dorsal was founded in 1932 by Franco Moretti as a bed factory, and it has now reached its third generation as a family owned business. In the 1970’s it was the first Italian company to introduce the innovative slatted bed frame system, and through the years Dorsal has always focused on innovation and modern technology when it comes to creating natural and sustainable products. In 2003 it introduced an innovative organic foam made from renewable resources, and Dorsal is a member of PEFC and FSC.
